Not really a groundbreaking article?

When UK ends up as the new Cuba and we are blocked off from Euro/US imports of parts to keep our modern BMW, Audi and Mercs running, at least we still drive our useable classics as dailies

At least in Cuba they have an abundance of 50's and 60's americana which us pleasing to the eye. In the UK will will have reps still driving their 10yr old, 500,000 mile Audi's post brexit, probably running an Astra engine as the Government were forced to re open Wirral Vauxhall engine plant to refit cars with locally produced engines to keep them mobile

My prediction based on recent votes: there is no point in extension and the Ireland boarder can't be fixed no matter how long you argue about it, so a repeat public referendum will be held, no-one who voted remain will change to leave because of the press coverage of the whole negotiation (I've not heard of a single positive BBC report in 2 1/2yrs!) and there will be plenty of 'leavers' who have changed their mind based on the above and the belief the government can't make a go of it (I'm not suggesting they can, I'm just predicting the public opinion!) so inevitably there will be a 'remain' majority. Once that happens, may will say 'it's a success, the people have had what they wanted - we explored the option of brexit but the public did not want the reality of it and therefore we've given them exactly what the wanted! (Except they haven't and it's almost certainly the worst of both worlds!!) There will then probably be a general election but since both sides have been pretty terrible in recent years it will be like the football where people vote for their 'old team' because they always have!!

Just my prediction and feel free to delete if it's too political!! :booze:
