 Post subject: Breaking an early-ish car.

I’ve taken a few bits I need off the car, mainly bits of trim, and was wondering if anyone required any bits?
Obviously the mechanical bits are an unknown - to be fair, unless it’s trim it’s an unknown!

I have no idea what was wrong with it to cause it to be taken off the road in the first place although, most of the top of the engine was in the boot?

I’m hoping to have the shell taken away next week so be quick!

Mike, I’m after the under dash trim panel that covers all the electrical stuff up , do you have one? Mines a 924s but think they are the same ?

I don't think any of them have one, it's all horribly exposed! There was one available on some LHD cars for the RHS under dash.

That explains it then. Yes it looks incomplete and the owners manual shows a LHD model , just presumed there was supposed to be that panel in place .

Definitely not one in this car. The dash is probably the worst I’ve seen and it appears to have collapsed above the instrument binnacle!

You have my request for the lower centre console and heater plate+knobs, don't need the upper dials. Might take the sunroof and maybe the rear windows too.

When you say rear window, I take it you mean the rear quarter light glass? If so, you can just have them.
I’ll look the sunroof over, the trim cover looked ok but I’m not sure about any of the fixings - most appeared to be missing?

I really want an idle screw, the covers for the fuel lines that pad around the front of the engine and a centre section exhaust clamp!

If there is any chance of these I’d be interested...

I need a pair of rear lights, if they’re in good condition. Also, does the top of the instrument binacle have a blanking plug to the left of the high beam warning light? What’s the ashtray like?
