The turbo tank is not 80l as std. The cgt had 80l and i think some other 931s had it optioned in.

I remember a trend of people putting bricks in their toilet cisterns to save water, maybe they did the same to save fuel?

1982 manual says 66 litre for 924 and 84 litre for turbo (98 RON for both).

Both PETS have larger tank for Turbo.

Don’t care what the tech specs suggest. I can’t get more than 50l in my tank. Receipt of last nights fill with fuel light flickering on occasion but not permanently on yet. Best check for a few bricks in the tanks

Tech info documents says small tank for 79 and 80 cars, ive seen very few large tanks over the years. It think it was developed for the CGT, hence didn't exist on the older cars.

G31 924 turbo boxes have GL5 in the factory documentation.

Interesting....my factory manual says GL4 and specifically not to use GL5!

Be sure not to mix it up with the us 924 t which uses the audi box in several model years.

Checked both "service information" for different years, and the FSM turbo supplement etc, can only find GL5 for the G31. Where have you read otherwise?
