To uphold the tradition of RichardB I will shamelessly copy and paste the details of last years meeting merely changing the dates and weather forecast to let you know it's time for the (sorry I've lost count and previous threads contradict each other so it's either) 12th (ish) 924 Owners Club Annual Season Opener at the Ace Cafe.

https://london.acecafe.com/meets/?cm=3&cy=2020&ct=
To tempt you and make it worth your while you're guaranteed good company, a great selection of 924s to peruse and some big plates of tasty nosh. And of course the very best of whatever the great British spring weather has to offer.

For a classic car gathering so early in the year it's very well attended, proof that the 'season' for 924s extends well beyond those of other fair weather classic cars. And yes, there are a good number of us that run them all year around, because they're great all year around.

Start time
Turn up from 11am

Parking
We have exclusive forecourt parking in front of the Ace Cafe building, until about 4pm. Ace Cafe provides a Parking Marshal on the gate who will direct you to our bit.

924 failing to proceed?
You are very welcome to join us in your non 924, but you will be directed left to the naughty corner of the car park.

Non members, new members, etc
Please come along and join us, whether you're in a 924 or not. Say hello, make yourself known, and we’ll make you very welcome. The Ace Cafe was my first 924 Owners Club event and it was a great opportunity to meet lots of forum people in ‘real life’, show off the tatty, bodged 924 I’d recently bought, leak some overflowing coolant across the car park and get some expert opinions on issues I was having, including overflowing coolant.

Food/nosh/grub/scran/tuck/nomnoms/nosebag
The food at the Ace is obviously… ACE. Full English and a proper mug of tea for about £6.50 so you won’t go home hungry.

Getting there
Ace Cafe is on the A406 North Circular, which links the M1 with the M40/A40 so is easily accessible from both Motorways and of course the M25.

Address for SatNav: Ace Corner, North Circular Road, London, NW10 7UD

Maps for those of us who like to do it the old fashioned (and of course better) way:

Excellent post Ed, entertaining and informative. I'm hoping to be there this year hopefully the car will behave, having missed the last couple because of mechanical issues.

This is usually a great meet up and a good way to meet lots of members and see lots of 924s. Especially worth coming if you're new to 924 ownership/924OC.

I'm in for this. I have a night out planned beforehand, but the 11am start is very achievable.

I'm just sad that the year Magnus turned up, most people were snowed in. Still, I had a chance to meet him and he was very enthusiastic.

I'm in! It'll be a good excuse to wash the car and if there's a large fried breakfast to be had into the bargain then so much the better!

The events calendar for Wembley Stadium looks clear on 7th March so hopefully no repeat of the traffic issues last year

Hopefully, I'll be there. Not used the car since Nov. last year. Finally managed to get it started just before Christmas.
Fingers crossed, she will start on the 7th March.
Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Thought I'd try to get to the bottom of this. I did a forum search for 'Ace Cafe' and the earliest threads it came up with were these which sound the first visit to Ace as Gary sounds very pleased to have sorted it.

So unless they were happening before that on an older unsearchable version of the forum that would make 2020 the 11th Ace Cafe Season Opener.

Probably.
