Our friends at Prescott have invited the Porsche 924 Owners Club to join them for a Drive the Hill Day.
This event has been specially designed to provide local car clubs with the opportunity to visit Prescott for none competitive hill drives, to partake in award winning fish and chips, or a luxury Prescott Picnic Hamper and enjoy a gentle return to the wonderful estate. To find out further details please click the link.

https://www.prescotthillclimb.co.uk/event-details/prescott-drive-thru-day-for-invited-car-clubs

This is the first non-member event following the enforced closure due to Covid-19 for specially invited car clubs.

In order to comply with social distancing requirements the format has changed, with the whole event being based on a drive thru format and hopefully, a socially distant picnic area on the Ettores banking area. The event will work like this...

There will be four time slots when you can arrive and drive up the hill. The charge is £15 and you can opt to buy refreshments when you book your ticket. However, speaking to many members, they'd like to go at a similar time. If you do want to gather, at a social distance, the timeslot we're suggesting is 11-1pm.

Some members are meeting first to enter the event as a group. If you want to do this and have the right time slot, email me. I won’t publish where this is happening on the open forum.

You are booking for the car and driver. No ticket, no entry. There are no spectators this time.

It is expected to be busy. I am sorry that it is late notice but Prescott have only just been able to confirm the event can go ahead in the past few days.

If you do decide to take part, can you let me know on the thread or by e-mailing me at events@porsche924.co.uk so I can try to coordinate members getting slots and parking together?

Hi Tony,

This is one of those events where you will need to book with the organisers. I'll then gather together who is going and see if it is possible to park up together.

Due to the socially distant nature of the event, there won't be a lot of chance to be together.
